| China¡¯s 104 critical refineries and petrochemical bases¡¯ total oil process capacity will reach 820 million tons per year with 43 10-million-ton and 8 20-million-ton worldclass-sized complexes. Among them, the 82 existing refineries¡¯ total capacity will be 590 million tons per annum after their latest round of expansions are commissioned. The rest 22 refineries are planned projects with a total capacity of 230 million tons per annum. |
| Refineries in Guangdong: Eight large-size refinery & petrochemical bases in Guangdong will contribute a total oil processing capacity of 108 mtpa. These complexes include the existing Maoming Refinery, Maoming Petrochemical Industry Zone, Guangzhou Refinery, Nanhai Refinery, Dongxing Refinery, and the planned Jieyang Refinery, Gaolan Island Refinery and Sinopec-Kuwait Complex. |
